Israel planning for more attack in Lebanon

This morning, the military of Israel reported that it intercepted a ballistic missile fired by Hezbollah, Lebanon. This incident marks the first time the militant group has targeted Tel Aviv. The missile was aimed at the headquarters of Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad.

In response to escalating tensions, the army of Israel launched new airstrikes in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. They warned residents in eastern and southern Lebanon to evacuate. Israel is expanding its air campaign against suspected Hezbollah weapon sites.

The U.S. embassy in Beirut advised American citizens to leave Lebanon using available flights. Many airlines have canceled or suspended operations. Others are fully booked. Meanwhile, Britain deployed 700 troops to bases in Cyprus to assist in evacuating its citizens from Lebanon. Two British warships are stationed off southern Cyprus, and Royal Air Force aircraft are ready for evacuation efforts.

Additionally, Russia urged its citizens to leave Lebanon for their safety. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that Israel’s actions against Hezbollah could escalate instability in the Middle East and lead to a broader conflict.
