In the Afar region, agenda collection is set to commence from October 1, 2017, coinciding with a drop in temperatures.

Furthermore, the selection of participants has been finalized at the district level in 10 regions and two city administrations. Commissioners have been deployed to their respective regions in Amhara and Tigray, where discussions with stakeholders have commenced. Efforts are underway to provide training to cooperative bodies in the Amhara region and to prepare zones and woredas in the Tigray region.

Since its establishment, the National Consultation Ethiopian Commission has undertaken various initiatives, including extensive preparatory work. In Addis Ababa City Administration, over two thousand participants have gathered to submit their agendas to the commission.
