Additional rumors have surfaced before the event. The Apple Watch Series 10 will not have blood pressure monitoring on the Watch Ultra 2, limited Apple Intelligence features for the Watch, and a future fitness coach-style feature. Both models will have a sleep apnea feature, but it may not be available at launch.
Apple will reveal the iPhone 16 at the “It’s Glowtime” event on September 9. This event is not just about the iPhone but is also important as it is the last chance to announce hardware before the holidays.
The event will start at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, with the theme “Glowtime.” Apple hinted small clues into the graphics of the event.
At WWDC in June, Apple introduced Apple Intelligence, an approach to generative AI. This method is unique to Apple and focuses on improving user experience by using limited relevant data.
Apple announced an update to the smart assistant Siri in June, along with better app integration and an updated interface. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be able to run Apple Intelligence due to limitations of older chips.
Next week’s event is expected to announce that Apple Intelligence will be available across the new iPhone line.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max may have a larger display due to smaller bezels. Both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have camera improvements, including a new glass molded lens for better optical zoom capabilities.
The event may also introduce new features like bigger batteries and Wi-Fi 7 for the iPhone Pro models.
The Apple Watch Series 10 will have a larger display and a slimmer design, along with a new processor. Features like a glucose monitor and sleep apnea detection may be added to the device.
Two versions of the AirPods 4 are expected, with the premium model getting Active Noise Cancelation and Find My features. All models will switch from Lightning to USB-C.
The event may also announce new Macs, including a big version of the Mac Mini, a new iMac, and a MacBook Pro without USB-A.
Apple’s Glowtime event will take place on September 9 at 10 a.m. PT.
